At 7pm, we will be throwing our kick-off party with free food, drinks, and fun! Located at the WVA Clubhouse - bring a swim suit and towel!
SATURDAY, MAY 3rd
12:00pm: Free lunch in the library conference room sponsored in part by Lenny's subs.
3:00pm: Steve Meyer, Disney 3D animator and Webster alum, will speak on his career and Disney animation with demonstrations and examples from Disney studios. A Q&A will follow. Refreshments will be provided. This is a don't-miss event!
6:30pm: Rendezvous at the quad to carpool for a trip to the CITY MUSEUM. Admission is just $3 for those who RSVP. We will arrive at the City Museum around 7:00 for a group rate. If you don't RSVP but arrive at the museum by 7:00pm, you can still get in for a group rate of $6/person.
SUNDAY, MAY 4th
Starting at 5:00pm, the KINEMATIFEST showcase and awards ceremony will commence! Come to see some of WU's and other Midwest schools' best animations and interactive media. A reception with hors d'ouvres and door prizes will directly follow the ceremony.
We hope to see everyone there in support of Webster University's first annual KINEMATIFEST!
